Ted Kakambouras serves as the Acquisitions Director of the Southeast Region for the Welcome Group, LLC. Mr. Kakambouras joined the Welcome Group in 2020 and is responsible for sourcing and underwriting new acquisition opportunities across markets in the Southeastern region of the United States.
Mr. Kakambouras brings with him a wealth of acquisition, asset management, and brokerage experience during his time spent at Colony Capital, Cushman and Wakefield, and Brookwood Financial Partners. He has acquired and disposed of over $300M worth of office, industrial, and multifamily assets throughout his career. In addition, he has managed a recapitalization of a $720M value-add commercial real estate fund and acted as the acquisition advisor for an institutional separate account client.
As a former professional and college athlete, Mr. Kakambouras enjoys competing in a variety of athletic endeavors and traveling across the globe in his spare time. He is also an active member of the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and active in the Greek community.
Mr. Kakambouras holds a Masters of Business Administration and Finance degree from Northeastern University and Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Merrimack College.
