Mr. Smith serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Welcome Group responsible for the company’s financial management functions including accounting and controls, financial planning and analysis, treasury and tax. Between 2006 and 2023, Mr. Smith served as Chief Financial Officer of several private equity backed companies focused on pharmaceuticals, distribution, financial technology and oilfield services. Mr. Smith served as Vice President of M&A for Consolidated Graphics from 2001 to 2005 and, prior to that, was a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen in its audit practice. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and a BBA from Southern Methodist University.
